Can you please check with your host that the table fg6ce_pongo_webservice
is not crashed? If it's crashed they should check all tables for consistency, and try to fix them (this requires database privileges you may not have, given how restrictive I see the host is).
If this is not the case, please do tell me. There are other things we can try, but there's no point doing any of that if the table is crashed.

Hi Nicholas. Tahnak u for your reply.
I checked the indicated table and it was locked. I proceeded to unlock that and 4 others. Unfortunately the backup still does not work.
There is no such thing as a "locked" table. I believe you are talking about what Joomla reports, which is checked out rows in a table showing as a lock icon. I am not talking about that at all. In fact, whether an item is checked out or not has nothing to do with the backup; it just refers to the contents of the checked_out and checked_out_by fields of a table. This is indifferent to us; we can dump a table regardless of its content.
Can you please ask your host if this table is crashed? I am talking about a problem with the table data structure which prevents the database from reading some or all data from it. If this is the case, asking the database to read data from the table may cause PHP to time out or crash with an error we cannot catch and report, which would explain what I am seeing in the log.
