EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 10MiB, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Attempting to download the most recent Akeeba Backup Pro, 10.3.1, is stopped by Norton, which says that it contains PHP:BackDoor-EP [Trj]

Attempting to download the most recent Admintools Prp works ok.

The first time this happened.

It's a false positive.

Norton sucks. No human with two braincells to rub together could conflate a PostgreSQL backup engine with a backdoor. It takes a special level of stupid to write software that does that.

Seriously. It's 2026. Use Windows Defender. It is far better, both in terms of detection rates and in terms of update frequency, and it's free.
