Iam the host. Permissions are all fine. I have 4 more websites on the same server. All permissions and ownerships are identical, only one is giving glitch

Akeeba Backup reports what PHP tells it which in turn reports what the Operating System tells it. Therefore, the problem is on the Operating System side, not PHP, not Akeeba Backup. Ergo, it's a hosting issue. Since you're your own host, you know what you have to do. Right?

I managed to fix it, I changed the owner of the dir instead of www_data I used my username
