I have a strange issue with Panopticon. I am running two separate Panopticon installations for two different business areas. On instance A, everything works perfectly. On instance B, automatic Joomla core updates are not working, even though both have the exact same settings.
The strange thing is that automatic extension updates work perfectly fine on instance B, so the system and the cron jobs are definitely running. It only fails when it comes to the Joomla core updates.
In my global configuration, "When An Update Is Found" is set to "Install Patch Versions Only". When a new Joomla patch comes out (like a jump from 5.4.3 to 5.4.6), Panopticon detects it correctly, but it says the update is "not scheduled to run automatically". Instead, it asks me to manually click the button to schedule the automatic update.
I have over 30 sites on this instance and I really don't want to click this button manually for every single site every time a patch drops. That completely defeats the purpose of the global automation policy.
Why is the global policy not automatically scheduling these patch updates on this specific instance, and how can I fix this so it inherits the settings correctly for all sites at once?
Thanks for your help!
Best regards,
