Hello, I have tried all the possibilities you provided to gain access to the url https://ijscluboegstgeest.nl but nothing worked. I was blocked by WAF and I could not get into the administration via the backend of the website: a 403 message (see attachment). I did manage to get the site working again by going to the plugin system-admintools-services and renamed the provider.php to provider .php.bak in the file manager. SO I can see the site but I still get the 403 block for the administration of the bakcend. I hope you can solve this for me. If you need login credentials, please let me know. It looks like I cannot approach the Akeeba Backup log file since I am blocked out as administrator. I can see the component Akeeba Backup (see attachment) but cannot log in.
In the file_manager I see akeeba admin tools but no akeeba backup. See the other attachment.
Will loading up AAT and AB via ftp in the public_html folder be of any help?

This is most definitely not a backup issue. You have submitted this ticket under Akeeba Backup support. Akeeba Backup is our backup extension.
In the same breath you also mention Admin Tools, which is a separate and unrelated piece of software. However, I can tell you upfront it's not an Admin Tools issue, for two reasons.
First, you already said that you renamed Admin Tools' system plugin file and still have the problem, therefore proving this is not an Admin Tools issue.
Second, and most importantly, your screenshot shows a very clear message from Joomla: "Er zijn geen rechten om hier naartoe te gaan. Neem contact op met een website beheerder als dit niet juist is". Even though I do not speak Dutch, machine translation is a thing and it comes up with "There are no rights to go here. Contact a website administrator if this is not correct.".
In Joomla, that indicates an ACL/permissions problem. The user has successfully authenticated, but their account does not have permission to access the requested administrator resource, in this case the backend interface.
Since get it immediately upon trying to enter /administrator, I would first check that their user group has the Administrator Login (core.login.admin) permission under Global Configuration → Permissions. If this is happening with your Super User account, I am afraid you have messed up your site big time; time to restore it from a backup.

Thank you for your swift reply. I decided to rebuild the website because the old one was hacked. The new one works fine, has Akeeba Admin Tools on it, and has a configured WAF. This ticket can be closed. Walter
