Hoi Nicholas,

I have a quick question about the message above. Which features are being referred to here—the ones I need to enable in my host's DirectAdmin?
Everybody will be able to see its contents. Do not include usernames, passwords or any other sensitive information.

It's the disable_functions PHP setting. However, this is only something you need to act upon if your backups fail with a PHP error message that such and such function is not defined. Otherwise, it's safe to ignore.
This warning has been there for twenty years, but it wasn't working the past decade. I fixed the bug... but it seems to confuse people, so I am removing it for the next version of Akeeba Backup. The disabled functions are logged when you take a backup, so a failed backup is easy for me to attribute to this issue when you send me the log file anyway.
