Hi

Just installed AkeebaBackup Pro 3 for the first time. Installed via Extensions | Install and uploaded the com_akeeba-3.0.zip file.

However, if I now go to Components | Akeeba Backup | Configuration I get a page with just the message

'403 - An error has occured
Access Forbidden'

Any ideas? Please bear in mind I'm no Joomla Guru so go easy on me!

This shouldn't be too tough. :) By default, Akeeba requires Super Administrator access. You aren't logged in as an SA and you're getting the 403. You can change the required access level in the Parameters icon in the upper right corner of the Akeeba Control Panel screen, but you have to be an SA to do that. Don't be too quick to reduce the access level, there is a lot of sensitive information in a backup. You can't give an access level (administrators, managers) access to do a backup without giving them access to download it.
