Hello,
I'm using a cloud storage service to store my Akeeba backups, the drawback is that if I want to restore a site I have to download the jpa archive on my PC form the cloud storage service and then upload them again on my site server... the question is... if Akeeba is able to upload backup archives on a remote server by using FTP, couldn't it also restore a website by getting the archive from a remote server via FTP?

Regards,
Niccolò

This is on my mid-term plans, i.e. a script similar to Kickstart which allows you to fetch files from a remote FTP location or Amazon S3 (the major remote storage options used by our users). I don't have a very rigid schedule for that yet.
