Hello,

I have been migrating web hosts, and a number of my websites have been backed up using Akeeba Backup Pro in .zip format. These files have then been uploaded onto the web server in the correct directories and extracted. I have then run the built in installer, restored databases and files. Unfortunately on all websites restored (2 so far) the content all appears, however there is no styles, no colors, no images etc - so unsure what has gone wrong?

Some templates may store fixed paths in their configuration files that would need to be updated manually after restoring to a new server. Do you have a link to the site with the missing template files? Also what version of Akeeba backup are you using?

Please download our Quick Start Guide and take a look at the last four pages which explain in great detail all the post-restoration issues and the steps you have to follow to resolve them.
