Hello,

We use Akeeba Backup Pro to move around websites we have created from our development server to the live domain of the client and vice versa.

This time we keep getting the above message.

What could be the problem here?

Many thanks for your help and kind regards,

steph.s
Hi,
Did you change the url paths as outlined here in the documentation when you used the Akeeba Backup Installer?

Hello Stephanie,

I did not do anything different than other times which has always worked perfectly.. I have left all options default.

Where exactly would I have to change the URL?

There could be one difference... This site has Joomla installed next to the old, still existing HTML website.
This means that there is also an index.htm file still in the site root.
By default it will start the old HTML site, when I want to see the Joomla site I need to type siteroot\index.php

Could this be possibly interfering?

Thanks for your help.

This is either a host-specific server error or you have installed an encrypted component which is locked to a specific domain name (actually: URL) and throws this error as soon as you move your site. It's certainly not something I have ever seen before and a Google search doesn't reveal any similar problems :(

Hi Nicholas,

You were perfectly right...

The template used was locked to the specific domain so after moving it with Akeeba to our development domain it throwed to 'URL doesn't match' message.

Thanks a lot for the very quick and good support.

We love the component!

Cheers,
