Can I set up a profile set to only backup certain directories and not have core site files nor databases in that profile?

More info: My host limits individual [backup] files to 2GB or less. If I was to do a full backup of my site, the archive would be more than 2GB. I'd like to have one profile be for the Joomla files, databases, extensions, etc., etc. I'd like to have a SECOND profile that covers only two directories (which have my large files). This second profile doesn't need to have the databases, joomla files, etc. since my first profile has that all covered.

Any thoughts on how to accomplish this? THANKS!

That's too easy :) Create a new profile. Back in the COntrol Panel page select it from the dropdown list on top to activate. From now on, all of the settings and changes will be applied only to this profile. Go to Configuration and set the backup mode to "Files only". Then, use the "Files and Directories Exclusion" page to exclude all files in your site root and all directories, except those you want to backup. Start a backup. Done :)

BTW, if you want to create a full backup which is bigger than 2Gb, there is a workaround. Just go to the Configuration page, click the "Configure..." button next to the Archiver Engine and set the "Part size for split archives" to a value of 2000Mb or less. This will "break down" the backup archive to more than one files, of up to 2000 Mb each.
