Joomla! version: (unknown) 1.5.23
PHP version: (unknown) 5.3.x
MySQL version: (unknown) 5.x
Host: (optional, but it helps us help you) http://www.biopsicologia.net
Akeeba Backup version: (unknown) 3.3.1

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue.

Description of my issue:

I failed repeatedly to get my backups working so that finally I uninstalled and installed. I had to enter all my data including S3 access keys. Now the backup seems to work, however.

I am against using the Configuration Wizard as I like one file MySql dumps as well as one file zip backups without any splitting into parts to make it easy to restore from command line if I feel masochistic.

I do not like to use the Configuration Wizard

Does the Configuration Wizard add missing tables? That might be the problem that explains why we have been two weeks without backups.
Is there a way to export the Akeeba Backup configuration file to other sites? I like all my sites to work the same.

Akeeba backup failed to
It failed to do backups during two weeks.

I don't really understand what the issue you are trying to seek assistance with is? Uninstalling removes all saved settings, as everything is removed from your site. If you want to reatain your old settings, you can reinstall the component without uninstalling it first.

The Configuration Wizard does not add missing tables. There is no such feature in Akeeba Backup. The only thing it can do -after a failed update- is to try to fix existing tables, in case there are missing fields.

Exporting the configuration is possible. Just take a dump of the jos_ak_profiles table and restore it on the other sites. Do note that you will still have to visit the configuration page and change the backup output and temporary directories to reflect the settings on your new site.
