Several of my sites are sending me an update alert even after I have updated to the lastest version.

Do the emails mention a specific release number (3.3.2) or do they come with an empty version number?

It is showing the new version available 3.3.2.

I am running a test on few more sites to see if this is really a bug or if it just looked to me like this is happening. I will let you know later today what I find out.

The only thing I can think of is that the version.PHP file did not update when you installed the new site. When you go to Akeeba Backup's Control Panel page do you see the version there being mentioned as 3.3.1? If you do, please click on the Live Update button and then click the Rload update information from the server button. Does that fix the issue?

This did not do it on my other test sites and on the ones that it did do this on when I went to the Akeeba control panel it shows the latest version 3.3.2 (the one it was asking me to update to). I still have a few other sites to run this on and will let you know if it sends me the link after updating.

It just did it again on the site you worked on the other day. I deleted your user but let me know if you want to go and take another look.

Yes, please, send me a Personal Message with full login info to the site so that I can take a look at what is going on.

Thank you for the PM! I found out the problem. The plugin doesn't load the version.php file of Akeeba Backup, so it thinks that there is always an update available unless you have visited your site's back-end and the Akeeba Backup component within the last 6 hours before the plugin runs.

Fixed and will release a new version which will include that fix very soon, probably before next week.
