Mandatory information about my setup:

Have I read the related troubleshooter articles above before posting (which pages?)? Yes
Have I searched the forum before posting? Yes
Have I read the documentation before posting (which pages?)? Yes
Joomla! version: 1.7
PHP version: (unknown)
MySQL version: (unknown)
Host: Hostgator
Akeeba Backup version: 3.3.4 Pro

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue.

Description of my issue: I am wanting to configure my backups to upload to Dropbox, but the only options in the drop down box are "no post processing" and "Send by email". Why can't I select Dropbox??

This is a known issue when upgrading from Akeeba Backup Core to Professional. The first time you try the upgrade, Joomla! doesn't copy all the necessary files. As the documentation reads:

""When upgrading from Core to Professional you must install the Professional package twice. For an unknown reason, Joomla! does not copy some of the Professional package's files the first time you install it. However, if you install the package again (without uninstalling your existing copy of Akeeba Backup) finally Joomla! copies all of the necessary files and performs the upgrade correctly.""

And that's all there is to it. Just by installing the Professional package without uninstalling anything will fix this issue.

You're welcome! If I could only figure out why Joomla! does that strange thing... :s
