Let's try something. In the Configuration page set the following:
- Minimum execution time: 1s
- Maximum execution time: 7s
- Runtime bias: 50%
Also make sure that you do not navigate away from the page, you do not close your browser and your computer does not go into sleep/standby/hibernate mode while you are backing up your site.

Hm, I have a few ideas, but it will be much faster if you can give me Super Administrator access to your site. Please send me a Personal Message with the following information:
- A URL back to this thread, so that I know what you're talking about
- The URL to your site's administrator page
- Super Administrator username/password
and allow me a couple of hours to get back to you.

Hello,

Sorry for the late reply, I'm working on your site for the last 2 and a half hours.

I observed that you had a few directories with thousands of unnecessary files each, as well as an old backup directory with several hundreds of megabytes of old backup archives. Trying to back up those unnecessary and useless for restoring your site files caused the server resource usage to go over the top, ultimately causing your host to kill the backup. I have excluded all of them from the backup, using the "Files and Directories Exclusion" feature of Akeeba Backup.

Moreover, I had to set up an extremely long Maximum Execution Time because SiteGround detected the consecutive calls to the same URL (this is how Akeeba Backup works in order to avoid a server timeout), mistook it for a denial of service attack and killed the backup. Now your backup works, at last!!!
