Description of my issue:

I have recently upgraded from 2.5.3 to 2.5.4 but now get this message:
Fatal error: Class 'JUpdater' not found in /home/www/lakepurrumbetecottages.com.au/administrator/components/com_admintools/models/cpanel.php on line 264

I have run the sql query but to no avail...

can anyone please help

You have a partial update or some files were not writeable. Download the Joomla! 2.5.4 installation package from http://www.joomla.org/download.html, extract it locally and remove the installation directory. Copy the remaining files and folders to your site via FTP, overwriting existing files. This should fix this issue.
