Joomla! version: 2.5.8
PHP version: 5.3
MySQL version: (unknown)
Host: inmotionhosting
Akeeba Backup version which took the backup: (unknown)
Kickstart version used to extract the backup: doesnt work

Description of my issue:

I am trying to use Kickstart to restore my backup but its not working... I get an error that says Internal Server Error. Now I am about to try the manual process but I don't have a directory called installation on my server so how do I access ABI and how do I install ABI? My backup is a JPS file.

THIS IS URGENT as my site is down.

First try using Akeeba eXtract Wizard on your local computer to extract the archive. Then upload all extracted files to your server. You can then access the installation script as http://www.example.com/installation/index.php where www.example.com is the domain name of your site.
