First, please note that your support request is supposed to go in the HUGE area labelled "Message", not in the very short area called "Topic".

The second thing is that what you describe CANNOT be the result of the backup. It means that either your database server died (in other words: your server is overloaded; change hosts a.s.a.p.) or that you are restoring your site to a different host, with different database connections and either the configuration.php file wasn't updated (could be a bug from an old version of Akeeba Backup under some circumstances) or you skipped the restoration and removed the installation directory.

Your question was "I can't open my site after using backup"

Now you say "At the end of the end of all the processus : a message ask to erase the installation directory"

And I have to ask: were you taking a backup or RESTORING a site?

If you were restoring your site I will need the following information before I can help:
Joomla! version:
PHP version:
MySQL version:
Host: (optional, but it helps us help you)
Akeeba Backup version which took the backup:
Kickstart version used to extract the backup:

> It's the last version of Joomla
This isn't helping. It can mean 1.5.26 (latest in 1.5 branch), 2.5.11 (latest LTS), 3.1.1 (latest STS) or any other "latest" version in an obsolete branch.

> it's the last version of Akeeba Backup , version : pro
I have never released a version called "last". My versions consist of numbers only. Please specify.

> the usual version of php
It's like asking you "which car do you drive" and you replying "my usual car". How am I supposed to know what that means?! I need a version number. Tip: it's written in the restoration page.

> Kickstart version used to extract the backup: I don't know
It's written with huge, bold letters at the top of the Kickstart page.

Sorry, you give me no usable information and I cannot help you.

While restoring you probably got a message about configuration.php being unwriteable and needing to copy some text to it manually. If it's still an option, please retry restoring your site. If this is not an option you will have to edit the configuration.php file manually and enter your database connection information in the respective entries of that file.
