Joomla! version: 2.5.14
PHP version: 5.2.17
MySQL version: 5.5.23-55 (it says database version)
Host: Host Gator (reseller hosting)
Akeeba Backup version which took the backup: 3.6.12
Kickstart version used to extract the backup: (unknown)

Description of my issue:
I have a site that has Open Cart as a subdomain. I am going to move the site to a new hosting so I can up grade the php to 5.3 and need higher max_input_vars

My question is does akeeba backup also back up the sub domain so when I do a kick start restore the open cart in the sub domain will also be restored?

Kind Regards

Kerry

Akeeba Backup will back up all files and folders it finds under your site's root. If your subdomain's files are stored there, it will also back them up.

Akeeba Backup will back up all database tables it finds inside your site's database. If your subdomain's database tables are stored there, it will also back them up.

However, in that case, Akeeba Backup WILL NOT reconfigure your subdomain and/or allow you to change your database settings. We strongly recommend to exclude subdomain information from your backup and back each site separately.
