Hi

I suggest in the ANGIE – Akeeba Next Generation Installer Engine that the section that is titled "Super User settings" be swapped with "FTP Layer Options".

Because of screen resolutions issues, some people may miss putting in their SuperAdmin info. In my case the "Super User Settings" is off the bottom my screen. The ftp settings are less important than making sure a user (usually a "new" kickstart user) can't get into their restored site after restoration.

I am used to Kickstart and rarely will forget to do this. But today, when I had to do a real fast restoration I forgot to scroll down and then had to fix my superadmin settings via cpanel.

Thanks for your consideration of this suggestion.

Actually, the FTP settings are more important than the Super User information. Let me explain.

If the FTP settings are required but not present Joomla! cannot write to its temporary, log and cache files. This may lead to sever issues, among other things: inability to install / update extensions; white / error pages when accessing the site; inability to log in; front-end pages not updating after editing the content in the back-end. The site is down if your server setup makes the FTP information necessary and you don't provide it.

The Super User information is usually known by the person who is restoring the backup. If he doesn't know (e.g. his client gave him a backup archive) he knows he has to change that, ergo he knows he has to look for this section. Even if he doesn't, he's locked out of the back-end (until he creates a Super User / resets the password of an existing Super User) but the site works. The site works if you had to enter new Super User information and you don't provide it.
