Hi Nicholas et all,

I am wondering if there is a way of using a CLI script to restore a backup everyday at a certain time.

I have a demo site that allows users to access a limited backend and allows them to "Play" with joomla making mistakes and learning the look and feel. But I obviously don't want to spend hours restoring everything so I use Akeeba backup and restore the site every 2 hours.

Is there anyway of automating this rather than me having to go in? I'm am "internationalising" the site soon so I can't be there 24/7 doing restores! :)

Any help appreciated.

Ray

It could be done with a cli script, but wouldn't it be easier to use the program that Nichlas wrote for that purpose? :-D UNiTE to the rescue!
