I am using Akeeba Extract Wizard 3.3 on WIndows 7 with 8Gbytes of Memory and Core I7 CPU.

I have 4 files ***.jpa, ***.j01, ***.j02, ***.j03 which are 898,383KB for the first file and 2,097,024KB for successive files.

The program automatically "disappears" from screen and I have a directory with a file structure that contains only a portion of the expected full file structure.

The backup files were retrieved from Amazon S3 using the program "BucketExplorer 64"

Please advise.
Thanks
JIm

I am not sure why this happens. Considering that this application is way past its retirement age and there are no plans to further develop it, I would recommend using Kickstart instead. Kickstart can run on Windows. You simply need a prepackaged local server with PHP support such as XAMPP, WAMPserver, Zend Server etc.
