 Hi,

I'm testing the restore with Akeeba Kickstart Professional 3.8.0 and get the message "AN ERROR OCCURED Could not download the file".

The S3 access appear to work fine listing the files etc.

There are no obvious error messages.

Hello Robert,

there could be several causes for this error:
  1. Permission issues on your server
  2. Permission issues with Amazon ACL
  3. You host is blocking connections with Amazon

The first one is the most probably one, can you please check if everything is ok?
You can try creating a very very simple backup of a few folders, upload it to the remote server and try to extract it (without using the FTP mode).
If the extraction fails, it means that you have a permission issue
