 When I try to migrate a site to a new hosting, I receive error message

An error occurred while restoring the database. The error message can be found below. Click on the × button at the top right of this dialog message to close it and return to the database restoration page.

SQL=CREATE DATABASE `d555173_test` CHARACTER SET `utf8`

I'm unable to migrate the site. Can you please provide some clues for troubleshooting? I did read tickets with similar error messages, but they didn't help out.

Many thanks for your support and your fantastic Akeeba product that helped me out many times with my business!

The installer can't create a new database, it does not have the rights necessary to do that. It can only restore tables and data to an existing database. You need to manually create the database, user and password before you begin your restore process.

The database has been created before site restoration, with all possible rights in CPanel.

I fixed the issue by making a new backup of the site, ZIP instead of JPA and with Installer 3.10.2 instead of Angie.

I'm glad you got it working, but that shouldn't have made a difference.
