 I'm using Akeeba Backup Pro 1.2.1 for WordPress 4.1 and this issue has happened twice on two different sites.

The issue is that after I restore the site with the use of Kickstart, the content on the frontend is visible, but some of the content in the backend is not. Meaning, I can see the text, code, nothing on some of the 'Pages'. This is also the case with Widgets. For example, I use Widget Blocks: the content is missing in the backend but not the frontend.

This has happened with two sites. One being transferred from a local server to a live server and another one transferring from one live server to another.

So the question is, where is the source of the issue and how can I solve it? I'm suspecting Akeeba because I have used this twice and encountered the same problem.

If I use the hardcore method of backing up/restoring the database within Control Panel and then FTP all of the files. Replace in the database all instances of the old server to the new, then the backend is fine.

Anyone else have this issue?

I know I saw some discussion about this problem, I'm pretty sure it is fixed in today's 1.2.2 release.

I guess there's only one way to find out and that's to try.

So I uploaded/installed the 1.2.2. release and the screenshot shows the result.....nothing.

I tried installing it again, blank.

Edit your wp-config.php file and find this line:
define('WP_DEBUG', false);

change it to
define('WP_DEBUG', true);

Save that file, retry accessing Akeeba Backup. You should receive a descriptive error message. Please copy & paste it here.
