Hello,

I migrated my website on another server using akeeba pro and quickstart : all was easy and perfect... except that Google has found a link between the new host and the old one.
Google associates the old meta-description to my new page.

My old website : www.escaliplus.fr
My new one (after migration) : www.escalier-tendance.fr

The description is the same... I don't know where is the problem !

I am not sure I understand your question. Do you mean the meta description entered in the Global Configuration screen? That would be transferred from one server to the other exactly as it was entered. You would need to manually update that field to have it different on the new site.

I updated it manually on my new website but I obtain the description of my old site.

I use robot.txt to tell googlebot not to index my old site... at the same time, on my new website, I obtain : "Description couldn't be displayed because of robot.txt block access to description.

If I add manually a meta description on my old site index page, I obtain it on my new site index page !

Thx but I still haven't resolved my problem !
There's a "secret" link between old and new website.

I shouldn't obtain the description of my old site on my new one !
I haven't any htacess redirection between my sites

It is possible to get the databases cross linked during a restore operation. It does not look like that has happened here. Your two urls are displaying different content.

Support for Google, Webmaster Tools, etc. is beyond what we provide. We can only support our products. You need to contact Google for help with their programs.
