 Hi,
I'm using your akeeba backup and akeeba admin tools (both pro) on websites managed by me on a dedicated server.

If I want move them to another host, how can I modify the "cron information"? Simply re-run wizard installation again?

CRON jobs are not part of your Joomla! site, they are part of your hosting account. This means that after transferring your site with Akeeba Backup no CRON job will be set up. You will need to set them up again on the new host.

Use the Scheduling Information tab in Akeeba Backup on the new host to get the correct command line for the CRON jobs. Please keep in mind that you'll need to ask your new host what is the correct path to the PHP CLI executable.

IMPORTANT: Please remember to manually disable CRON jobs on your old host right before moving your site. Even though you're no longer hosting your live site with them your user account –therefore your CRON jobs– might continue to live for a period of time ranging from one month to infinity. Some hosts seem to forget to disable old hosting accounts after you move out. You could end up in a situation where you're receiving CRON emails from your old hosting account. This has happened a lot in the past and it has proved exceedingly difficult to fix that once you're no longer a client of the old hosting company.
