 My site restored and it all seems to work but when I try to go to the administrator directory all I get is a white page with the text "It Works!" on it. I tried all the suggestions in the articles I read without resolving the issue.

"It works!" is the default text of several LAMP stacks when there is no site present. Look for an index.html file in the /administrator folder. On some systems it will process before index.php and take precedence.
