I'm trying to restore a jps archive and I cannot do it due to the error: Archive Corrupt, Missing part files or Truncated archive. This backup is configured to store in jps format and as it is a big site, it's also configure to be multipart. It's actually 233 files (232 jnnn + 1 jps).

What intrigues me is that I'm getting different errors in the restoration:

1. On a live server I get a 500 Ajax server error

2. On localhost (XAMPP on a MAC) I get the missing part error but looking at the steps carefully, it happens when extracting different files (please check attached screenshots).

Also I have used 2 ways for getting the files on my computer: 3hub app in Mac and Kickstart so I truly think it's not a download issue.

Any ideas about why is this happening?

The fact that you are getting the error in different places may suggest that the problem is environmental, not with the archive itself. Are you running out of memory? Do you have enough space? Do you have too many files open?

Hi Dale,
I also suspect that. I'm on a Mac Book Pro and I have provided XAMPP with 8G of allowed memory, but to be honest I usually have a VirtualBox maching running and Firefox is a memory eater, so I will try again disabling VB and see if that helps.
