I followed your instructions in "Akeeba backup and migrating to Joomla 3" to migrate my site from Joomla 2.5 to 3.5.1. The site was fine after going to Joomla 3.5.1 on my local server, but after backing it up and restoring it on Hostgator, the front end shows error 1146 when loading any page that includes an SQL statement referencing a table in my database. An example of the message is in the attached file. The table does exist; I can access it from phpMyAdmin. The table prefix in the database matches the one in the configuration.php file and the one shown on the back end in the Global Configuration - Database Settings. Something isn't matching up, and I don't know where else to look.

Hello Nancy,

if the table is there, it means that the problem is somewhere else.
Did you try to REPAIR/OPTIMIZE the table inside phpMyAdmin? Moreover can you please ask your hosting to take a look at it, to double check that everything is ok?
Finally, I think you should ask support to ChronoForms, since I suspect there's something off in component configuration.

I have found additional issues that may be related. When I try to open Admin Tools, I get a message "Invalid Joomla configuration settings detected: Invalid or unwritable Joomla log directory. Please fix it inside Joomla Global configuration." However, I can't save any settings in Global Configuration. When I searched for an answer to this issue, I'm told to use Admin Tools to fix file permissions. Catch-22!

Regarding the "Global Configuration" issue, it means that you a permission issue on your server. You can try enabling the FTP layer inside Joomla Global Configuration, that should work.
Anyway, you should contact your hosting, since that could lead to several other issues.

OK, thanks. I can't enable the FTP layer because I can't save anything in the Joomla Global Configuration. I've contacted my hosting provider and am waiting for an answer.

Ok, let me know!
I thought that while saving the FTP layer details, it immediately used it to write the new configuration file; maybe it was too smart ;)
