I'm moving to a new hoster. The new hsoting is already setup but my domain is still in transfer.

So I already made subdomains on my new server, backed up my subdomains on the old server. Changed my hosts file to go to my new server.

Uploaded the correct jpa file and kickstart. But it throws an error right at the start.

[19-Jan-2021 10:31:17 UTC] PHP Fatal error:  Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function json_decode() in /home/krachts1/bodycovergroup/ks.php:15315[19-Jan-2021 10:31:17 UTC] PHP Fatal error:  Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function json_decode() in /home/krachts1/bodycovergroup/ks.php:15315Stack trace:#0 /home/krachts1/bodycovergroup/ks.php(15589): kickstart_application_web()#1 {main}

It maybe has something to do with my domain not already at the new hoster, or with my hosts file, or not having SSL yet, but I'm not sure.

Any idea?

Hope to hear soon.

Kind regards,

Akeeba Staff

please get in touch with your host and ask him to install JSON support for PHP.

It's an essential module that is used by almost any web application, not only Kickstart.

It was a little bit more complicated but eventually this did the trick.
