I cannot connect to MariaDB 10.6 while restoring a site.
Message appears:

For your information, the last error message was:

Unable to connect to the Database: Could not connect to MySQL.

Hello,

please double check database access details, since we pass them directly to PHP to perform the connection without any extra step. Do you have any special char in your password? Sometimes they get removed by some filtering rule put in place by the host.

Hello,

I don't have any special character in the base password.

I also tried to install Joomla 4.0.4 in conjunction with the database, but I also get this error:

Błąd Nie można połączyć się z bazą danych. Instalator zwrócił błąd o numerze: Could not connect to database: Access denied for user 'mcmbaluty_23'@'10.254.28.99' (using password: YES)

The problem solved. The server host name is not localhost. The attachment contains the correct name server host name.
