Hello,

something must have gone wrong with a recent update (Joomla and Yootheme). But when trying to restore a backup before, only an error message comes up (see screenshot).

What is the cause How can I eliminate the error? Can you help me with this please?

Β

Error after delete htaccess:

Extraction of the backup archive has failed.
The last error message was:

Could not open /home/abonaerp/public_html/ABONA2020/test.txt for writing.

Delete the .htaccess file from the site's folder and give it another try.

There are two htaccess. Second one is htaccess.admintools. This one also delete?

The error message you get means that one or more of your files and folders cannot be written to by PHP running on your server.

You can either use the Hybrid mode (after entering your FTP credentials) to use FTP to overwrite those files or better yet talk to your host to have both the FTP and the web server user be the same, having all files/folders owned by the same user and user group and have permissions 0755 for folders and 0644 for files as it's been the recommended and standard practice the past 20 or so years.
