Unfortunately, there is an obsolete file sv-SE.kickstart.ini in my daily backup. When I try to restore using Akeeba Backup or extract using standalone Kickstart, the job is interrupted with the error message "Extract fails, can't open file <root>sv-SE.kickstart.ini for writing.

The <root>sv-SE.kickstart.ini is created by kickstart with permissions 0644 and size 0.

Log entry from backup:
DEBUG |20230508 15:00:08|----- Finished operation 1 ------

DEBUG |20230508 15:00:08|-- Adding htaccess.txt to archive (source: <root>htaccess.txt)

It seems to me as <root>sv-SE.kickstart.ini is interfering in the extracting of files. Is there any possibility to skip the file sv-SE.kickstart.ini?

Help is appreciated.

Hello,

before starting the extraction process, can you please tick the option "Ignore most errors"? Kickstart should be able to ignore the missing file, completing the backup.

Hello

It has nothing to do with the file sv-SE.kickstart.ini. I was misled by the fact that error message pointed to the first file.

When extracting with option "Ignore most errors" all files are extracted but the following files were empty:

<root>.ftpquota
<root>configuration.php
<root>htaccess.bak
<root>htaccess.txt
<root>index.php
<root>LICENSE.txt
<root>README.txt
<root>robots.txt
<root>robots.txt.dist
<root>sv-SE.kickstart.ini
<root>web.config.txt

In a second step I extracted only the above files and they extracted ok and I could restore the site.

Regards
Bengt
