hi, i downloaded the latest version 9 from kickstart, it looks like there is a issue at the package: it is just only the "kickstart.php" file in it, the cacert and ini  file are not in place, at the pro and the core package.
there for it is not working on my server.

This is intentional. You never actually needed those two files. You only ever needed the PHP file.

The INI file is the language strings, in case you want to translate it to a different language.

The cacert.pem is not necessary at all; it will use your server's CA cache if the file is not present. If you cannot import files from a URL or Amazon S3 you can of course download the latest cacert.pem from cURL's site. This makes more sense than using the copy included in Kickstart since releases are so far in between that this file ends up horribly outdated anyway.

All right, I understand that the files are not needed.
Nevertheless, the kickstart-pro-8.0.6 version works without any problems.
If I want to use the kickstart-pro-9.0.0 version, I get an "HTTP ERROR 500" error message.
what could the issue cause?

Without a more specific error message from your server's error log there's not much I can do. I need some information.

If I were to make a completely wild guess, I would guess it's the PHP version. Kickstart 8 could run on PHP 5.4 or later. Kickstart 9 requires PHP 7.4 or later. If your host defaults on an older PHP version, e.g. 7.1, you'll probably get a problem.

ok ... my servers default php is 8.2 and for the webapp it was also set to php 8.2.
i could solve my restoration with the v8.x version of kickstart, it worked without any issue.
