Hello Support Team,
I'm trying to restore my site. I've been making regular backups and saving them in a "Sicherungen" directory. This directory now contains several ZIP files and "akeeba.backend.id-xxx.log.php"-files. However, there are no *.jpa files. Since I no longer had access to the website or the backend, I reinstalled joomla and akeeba. Is it possible to restore the website now? If so, how? The "old" DB and files are also existing.

Those files are the log files. Are you sure you have not been uploading your backup archives to remote storage? Check the latest log file and look for "post-processing". Next to it, in parentheses, it tells you which upload engine it's using. The none engine means the backup archives are left on the server – where the host might elect to silently remove them without asking or notifying you.
